Reservations
Rates are subject to change and may vary for special events and holidays. Rates are subject to prevailing tax rates at the time of your stay. Quoted rates are based on single or double occupancy. There is no charge for children 12 years and under when staying in the room with an adult.
Deposits
All reservations must be secured with a minimum deposit of one night’s stay by MasterCard, Visa, Discover or personal check. The deposit holds a reservation for late arrival and is applied to the last night of the scheduled reservation. You will be responsible for payment of the entire reservation upon check-in.
Maximum Occupancies
Two queen bed accommodations are configured for 4 people and king bed accommodations are configured for 2 people.
Age Limitation
At least one guest must be over 21 years or older with a valid ID and Credit Card.
Special Requests
Your special preferences, if any, mentioned on your reservation request, will be noted. We will try our best to accommodate your preferences but please know that it may not always be possible.
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made 3 days prior to the date of arrival to receive a refund of your deposit. Peak Seasons including Holiday's, Oktoberfest or Group Events may require up to 10 Days advance notice to avoid charges. Failure to cancel a reservation within the given cancellation time frame or failure to arrive for a scheduled reservation will result in forfeiture of deposit.
Check-In/Out
Check-in is after 3 p.m. and Check-out is before 11 a.m.
Failing to provide correct information at check in could result in additional charges or eviction from property without a refund.
Parking
The Helendorf parking lots are reserved for guests only. All vehicles must be registered at the front desk and a parking pass will be issued upon check-in for the specific duration of your stay, which must be displayed in your automobiles front window. In the event that a guest extends their stay they must return to the office for an updated parking pass.
Loss Prevention
The hotel assumes no responsibility for loss of valuables or other articles from room or vehicle.
Damages to Premises
Guests are responsible to pay for all damages caused to Helendorf properties by themselves or members of their party.
Swimming Pool
The swimming pool is for the use of registered hotel guests. The pool is open from 10:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. during the warmer months and may be closed when weather conditions warrant. There is no lifeguard on duty. Children under the age of 16 must be supervised by a parent or responsible adult. No diving, running, or glass products are allowed in the pool or pool area at any time.
Riverfront Patio
The Chattahoochee River is a precious natural resource and one of our top amenities, which the Helendorf has worked in partnership with the Chattahoochee Riverkeepers and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources to ensure its viability for our guests. The Helendorf Riverfront Patio and river access points are for the use of registered hotel guests only. Access to the river should be limited to the stairs to preserve the natural beauty of the riverbank. There is no lifeguard on duty. A parent or responsible adult must supervise children at all times. No jumping, diving, running, or glass products are allowed on the patio and riverwall area at any time. Large portable firepits are not allowed on the patio or in the natural areas around the patio and river. Please contact the front desk for specific approval of such items to ensure the comfort of all our guests.
Smoking
The Helendorf has designated smoking guest rooms. All non-smoking guest rooms and indoor common areas are smoke-free. Smoking in a designated non-smoking area to include non-smoking rooms will result in a $100.00 Room Recovery fee.
Promotions
Promotional rates may not be valid on some weekends, holidays, or during special events. Promotions do not apply to existing or group reservations.
Pet Policy
The Helendorf River Inn, Suites and Conference Center is “freundliches houstier” or pet friendly. We are one of the few hotels in Helen that is pet friendly and accepts any size pets. We know that pets are part of the family and, for many people, a holiday or a visit to Helen just isn't complete without them.
However, we ask you to carefully review the following pet policy. Since the Hotel only offers a limited amount of guest rooms that are designated for pets, you must notify the hotel at time of booking to ensure availability and also upon check-in with the Front Desk Staff.
All pets are required to check-in at the Front Desk upon arrival at the property!
Failure to notify the hotel at check-in of bringing a pet on property will result in possible eviction from the property and a surcharge of $250.00 added to your hotel bill in addition to the daily pet fee of $30.00 per pet per night.
Specifics:
No pet is to be on hotel property unless a pet room is booked.
A non-refundable pet fee of $30.00 per night, per pet, plus tax is added to all pet rooms.
Pet owners agree to never leave their pet unattended at any time during their stay at the hotel.
Pets are not permitted in the indoor pool.
Pets must be properly controlled at all times.
Pets must always be on a leash or in a cage while they are in any public or common areas within the hotel.
The pet owner will be fully responsible for any injuries to the hotel employees or other guests caused by their pets.
Pet owners must pick up after their pets, or a $100.00 clean-up fee will be added to their room account.
The pet owner will be fully responsible for the repair of replacement of any items stained or damaged by their pets.
PLEASE NOTE: Biting or aggressive animals are not allowed, regardless of muzzle guard or cage.
Pets are not allowed in the whirlpool suites.
